These paintings reflect shifting states of being. Occupying a swinging range of influences; confusion, loss, the unknown, conflict, dissonance, intrigue, joy, harmony, absurdity, and curious optimism.  The hope is that these figures, animals, places, and symbols host these cycling states of being, to be themselves and something more ambiguous: something beyond their representation. These paintings are inviting the viewer to drift through various states of being. Then return to their self here, now and continue…
